Modulaire is a curated modular furniture brand and boutique that brings back iconic modular furniture designs in a modern way. Customers can shop online or experience the brick-and-mortar flagship showroom in New York City.
People grow and move many times throughout their lives. Modulaire offers many fabric choices, colors, and shapes, so the furniture could suit anybody’s design style. The pieces can be configured in many different ways to conform to any room layout. This makes it so customers can even purchase additional modular pieces later on if they move to a bigger home. The creation of Modulaire was ultimately to offer adaptable furniture that can grow with you from home to home.

ANALYSIS



THE LOGO

The ‘M,’ standing for Modulaire, is broken apart and then pieced back together to resemble the characteristics of the furniture. The curved nature is inspired by the arms of a chair or couch and is represented abstractly. The ‘M’ icon is encapsulated by an oval that creates an emblem mark. ‘MODULAIR’ below uses the typeface Big Caslon to compliment the ‘M’ icon.
