Through this lyric video, I wanted to portray a visual of regret and desolation. The singer of the song is venting through the lyrics, sharing his feelings to his significant other whom of which is away. He regrets that he can’t spend more time with her while he is away for his career. He expresses how he feels lost and empty without her and is suffering without her presence.

This song represents anyone who is longing for a loved one and is in an emotionally vulnerable place. I decided to only use black and white and use texture and blur elements to add depth. I showed these emotions through the video by representing the feeling of emptiness and confusion, embodying the emotions by animating the verbs used in the song in a way that makes them feel physical.
